Bangor is still: still not moving, still not breathing, still not living. In the open air, my friends’ hollow words hang, “I’ve missed you, we’re glad you’re back.” I pry them open like oysters— shucking them clean with who’s what’s and where’s— only to find that they’ve become wheels spinning in the October mud.
Stonehenge is a multi-media publishing project from the Champlain College Publishing Initiative. This semester we are working on the first anthology of Stonehenge poetry. We are currently looking for submissions of poetry and photographs.
Using two sentences of description and one sentence of action, a Stonehenge poem captures a moment. The Stonehenge anthology, which will be published in April 2011, will combine selected poetry and photographs.
This group is intended for publicity and community engagement. Check back for updates.
To submit your own Stonehenge or a photo, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
